Shipping to UE is €9.99 and shipping to non-EU countries is €39.99. Depending on the country of destination, delivery time in Germany is approx. 1-3 working days after we received a complete and error-free order. Delivery time outside Germany is approx. 2-8 working days. This may vary during promotional periods. Unfortunately, our partner doesn't do delivery on weekends and holidays. In this case you can expect delivery on the next working day.

If you are not satisfied with your new Berliner Bags product, you can return it at any time within 100 days. Please inform us beforehand at info@berliner-bags.com. To be eligible for a return, the bag must be unused, undamaged, with no missing parts, and in the same condition as you received it. The manufacturer Berliner Bags grants a 1-year warranty on the goods advertised with the guarantee promise. The period for calculating the warranty period begins with the invoice date. The manufacturer’s guarantee extends spatially to the state of the Federal Republic of Germany. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as the guarantor, grants one of the following services at his discretion: – free repair of the goods or – free replacement of the goods for an equivalent item (possibly also a successor model, if the original goods are no longer available). Leather is a natural product that can have a stronger smell, especially when it is new. However, this disappears automatically after a while. Our vintage style leather bags are also vegetable tanned, as we do not want to use any environmentally harmful substances. Vegetable tanning does not completely neutralize odors. It helps to use the bag regularly, to air it out or to fill it with scented sachets. Another tip is to put the bag in a box of newsprint overnight, as the paper can absorb unwanted odors.

Leather care products are easy to find online or in the supermarket. It is important to note that all Berliner Bags products are made of smooth leather. We recommend you to use wax-based leather balms or waterproof sprays. Apply the selected leather care product with a lint-free cloth and rub it in gently in a circular motion. In general it is recommended to carry out a full leather cleaning once a year and to remove accumulated dirt in order to freshen up the leather. Slight irregularities in color and structure are based on the naturalness of leather and are a typical quality feature. The bags from our vintage collection will also darken over time. When processing leather, we pay particular attention to high quality standards in order to guarantee a breathable and supple surface – free of carcinogenic or allergenic chemicals. Thanks to this elaborate process, distinctive pieces with an individual touch are created in our environmentally friendly vintage leather collection.

Leather is naturally water-repellent. However, it is not recommended to expose leather bags to direct moisture for long periods of time. If you want to make your leather bag a little more waterproof, you can treat it with waterproof sprays.
